I was the youngest and only female voting member of ASCE's Construction Institute Board and Chair of the Student Days Program for 4 years. I orchestrated the annual 5-day heavy civil engineering competition for college students, from logistics to content. I created the technical program, coordinating speakers and mentors for the 40 students working to put together a 'real-life' construction proposal. I was in charge of a $60,000 annual budget and over 20 remote volunteers. I grew the applicant pool over 100% from 2016 through social media campaigns and other networking strategies and spearheaded a 50% growth in project sponsorship, bringing in an extra $21,000 in 2019.
